When Scott Sawtell curator of "60 Painters" invited the artists to visit Humber College site, the bright painted yellow wall of one of the classroom called my attention. Right away I new that I wished to have this room and would propose a site-specific artwork that would integrate the colour of the wall with my artwork.

As we walked from one room to another and meander in a labyrinth of hallways, I was sensitive to how I oriented myself and at times how I felt disoriented by this unfamiliar building.

How do we experience a space when entering it for the first time?

This site-specific installation is a response to that experience and the title Legacy refers to the team of builders and designers that developed Humber’s Arts and Media Studios.
